I was always one of those kids that NEVER wanted to grow up (probably why I still watch the Disney Channel). Living at home with my parents was simple the best. I could have lived at home forever. But unfortunately life does not work that way. We grow older and start our lives in the real world. Adulting is not always easy, but how we adjust can be. Ageing is inevitable. So we might as well enjoy the ride and embrace each moment. This especially goes for birthday’s. I know this year I am going to soak it all in. Even though it is bittersweet. I just remember all the blessings I have and it puts things in perspective…And in case you are wondering? Yes, today is my birthday. The last year of my 20s is officially underway. I plan to enjoy a day full of good food, shopping, and laughter. All with good company of course. I look forward to this new birth year and all the adventures it holds!
Below I call this “my birthday outfit”. Purple is my favorite color so you know it had to be mixed in somehow. The tulle skirt was perfect for the pop of color. And I always love a good graphic tee. The heels were fun but really, really hard to walk in. I am not an avid stiletto wearer to begin with. So you can imagine my struggle, especially climbing stairs. But all in a good days work!
